Guillaume Petit works part of the team specialising in the handling of companies in difficulty within Poulain Law Office. He works mainly in financial restructuring, insolvency and preventive procedures and solvency transfer.
At the same time, he advises and assists the law office’s clients in the settlement of their commercial disputes or related to insolvency proceedings.
Before joining Poulain Law Office in March 2018, Guillaume Petit worked for more than two years in the Restructuring & Insolvency Procedures department of Bredin Prat Law Office alongside Olivier Puech and Nicolas Laurent and for a year and a half alongside Nicolas Depoix-Robain.
Throughout these various experiences, he participated among others in the sale of the Tati brand, in the financial restructuring of Groupe Flo or in the sale of SNCM’s operations.
Furthermore, Guillaume Petit has been involved in the restructuring operations undertaken by the African States. Member of the Paris Bar since 2014, he graduated from Paris VIII University (Master 2 in Business Law and Taxation) and from Wolverhampton University (LLM International Corporate & Financial Law).
Finally, Guillaume Petit regularly works in the Master in Private Law at Paris VIII University.
